This Privacy Policy describes how Vuwing Digital (“we,” “our,” or “us”) handles information when you use the HomeApp mobile application on iOS and Android (the “App”).
1. Scope
This policy applies to HomeApp and related support communications. It does not apply to third-party services that have their own privacy policies, including Apple, Google, and other providers used by you through your device or account.
HomeApp is intended for users in the United States and Canada.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide in the App
- Property details, inventory records, maintenance logs, warranty details, contractor entries, and notes
- Photos, videos, scans, receipts, and related attachments you choose to store
- Optional account/sign-in details if you use sign-in features
- Support requests you send to us (for example by email)
Information collected automatically
- App diagnostics and crash reports
- Limited product analytics events (if enabled by you)
- Technical metadata such as app version, device model class, operating system version, language/locale, and feature usage events
Information we do not use for advertising
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not use your App data for third-party behavioral advertising.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide core app functionality
- Sync and restore your data when cloud/sync features are enabled
- Maintain security, detect abuse, and fix bugs
- Improve app performance, reliability, and features
- Respond to support and legal requests

For users in the United States and Canada, our legal bases and privacy obligations may include:

- HomeApp is designed as an offline-first app, with data primarily stored on your device.
- If you enable sync/backup/account features, relevant data may be processed through your platform provider services (for example iCloud/Apple services or Google services).
- We may use service providers for diagnostics, analytics, infrastructure, and support operations.
- Data may be processed in countries other than your own, subject to appropriate safeguards where required.
6. Sharing of Information
We may share information only as needed with:
- Platform and infrastructure providers needed to operate features you use
- Service providers acting on our instructions (for hosting, analytics, diagnostics, support)
- Authorities or other parties when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights and safety

We do not sell personal information.
7. In-App Purchases
Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not process or store your full payment card details.
8. Data Retention
- App content remains under your control and is retained until deleted by you, removed by app deletion, or cleared through available app/device controls.
- Diagnostic and analytics data is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above.
- Some records may be retained longer when required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or accounting obligations.
9. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on applicable U.S. state and Canadian privacy law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.
You may also:
- Disable optional analytics in app settings (when available)
- Revoke app permissions (camera, notifications, contacts, photos, etc.) in device settings

10. Children
HomeApp is not directed to children under 13 (or a higher age threshold where required by local law). If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Third-Party Services
The App may interact with third-party products and services (for example Apple, Google, and other APIs/providers). Their data practices are governed by their own privacy policies and terms.
13. Regional Disclosures
U.S. state privacy laws
If applicable, U.S. state residents may have rights to know, access, delete, correct, and opt out of certain processing. We do not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Canada
If applicable under Canadian privacy laws, you may request access to and correction of your personal information, and may withdraw consent to certain processing subject to legal or contractual restrictions.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the App or other reasonable channels.
